For a week, the four founding members of UPBatibot.com set out one of the most unlikely adventures for early adults – a recruitment campaign. Roughly two weeks ago, as we were eating pizza inside a taxi (figuratively), we decided to set a deadline for recruiting people into the site – face it, we needed writers and photographers bad. Important events were soon coming up, and we needed to beat these deadlines as soon as we could. Opportunities like these only come by once a year, so why not grab at it, right? So recruiting we did – and yes, it was a wholly good experience. Thanks to a few contacts and suggestions, we found more than just writers, artists, and photographers – we found friends. The meet-up for these new staff members of the team was scheduled just last Friday. We chose the nearest coffee shop that had internet access, meaning we ended up in Coffee Dream in Gorordo. Such a cool place for a laid-back meeting, don't you think? For all the things that made it start out well, it was no comparison to how it ended. Ideas and concepts came popping out of nowhere, fellow members came into terms with one another, and the best part of it all was that more coffee was served. I'm excited to meet-up with these guys on the next Friday, and hopefully we can start releases by then. Truly, there is something great to look forward to in all that you do.
